Attempting to like cooking

My attempt to enjoy cooking. I have to admit that I am not a big fan. Maybe its because by the end of the day I am drained. The house is usually a mess and I feel like its torture to cook at the end of the day when you are so tired. So I have started preparing the meal at the beginning of the day with a little of my music. (Colbie Caillat, Mindy Glendhill, etc). No tv is allowed, just peace and quiet.

Okay, here it goes. Excuse the look,
that is usually the look I have at the end of the day.
First of all I need my helpers.

I have my taste tester as she explains that she will give me a
thumbs up if its good, thumbs middle if its okay,
and thumbs down if its horrible.

For Dinner we made breaded Tilapia with Lemon Sauce,

and homemade rolls.

I think dinner was a success, I recieved two thumbs up. Here is to making memories around the table, and enjoying a great dinner or at least some of the time. It depends on what my critics think .

The next day we made healthy oatmeal cookies for dad and made a homemade cookie jar for dad. He had mentioned that he wished he had cookies in a cookie jar after singing the song

(Who ate the cookie in the cookie jar) over and over with are new kindergarden.

The Triathalon.

My Hubby did a great job on his triathalon. He actually cut 10 minutes off from last time. "Hip Hip Horray." In an attempt to get healthy he signed up, even though he didn't get as much trainng in he did great. After the triathon we had breakfast at my brothers house, and the kids got to chill with the uncle.

Morgans First day of School.

As you can tell Riley did not like the idea of Morgan going to school, or maybe he liked the idea.(I have Mommy all to myself HE HE HE)

Wow, My baby is growing up. Today was her first day of school. I wish I could say that she was nervous and wanted me to stay with her, but that is not true. My daughter woke up at 6:30 ready to conqure the day. She had all her stuff laid out the night before. The first thing she asked me when she woke up was, "You are not going to stay are you?", and "can you just drop me off at the curb." If she only knew what I was feeling. I tried hard to be brave and not cry in front of her, but their where moments that I got teary eyed. After school she told me that she loved school, and was so excited to go back. So today again, she was up at 6:30 ready to leave by 7 and telling me that I am taking to long. .
