In honor of waffle day

In honor of waffle day yesterday celebrating the first waffle Iron we made waffles. Too bad no one was in the mood to eat them right away. Morgan was upset about the items on her waffle and had a melt down, and J wasn't hungry. Oh well they are cute anyhow. Don't worry they didn't go to waste after morgan realized that she could have her plain waffles she decided that it was okay to eat them. You have to love the terrible two's, it is amazing what sets her off. But for the most part she is still a joy to be around.

Saturday adventures

So J had to work today so Morgan and I filled the day with adventures. First thing this morning we decided to make some friends out of her rocks. Morgan loves rocks and collects them. She had fun painting her rocks. Latter on in the day we made an obstacle course outside and raced on her bikes. Of course she won because I couldn't go as fast on her bike(Sorry no pictures, not a pretty site). Well we raced bikes ran under yarn, ran to a ball threw it in the baskit and ran to Riley. To finish of the day we made dinner and enjoyed dinner on our front porch, followed by a beauty session with hair and nails. Morgan was also thoughtful enough to tell me to go take a nap and she would be quite.(thanks morgan for the invite). Morgan is working on a new song that she sings all the time. " I'm like a princess, like a princess"

My Little Man is Growing Up!!!

Well my little man is growing up so fast. Milestone #1, he is sitting up. He hasn't quite mastered it, but is getting close. I can't believe that he is almost 6 months old. He has been such a joy and great addition to the family. His smile just makes my heart melt. He is also Crawling the fun has just began. He has the cutest crawl. He gets up on his knees and scoots both knees at the same time.

This is Morgan love of her life, she loves ridding her bike. Watch out because her she comes.
She was so tired that she couldn't even Finnish getting on the chair

My bike is in the mail.

So I am so excited for my new bike. This will be my real first bike. Who would of thought that I would love to bike. Saturday I went on a 12 mile bike ride and loved it, not so much the hills but everything else. In less than 4 weeks I will be doing my first Triathalo n. I can't believe that I am actually going along with this crazy idea. I have been enjoying my training. I have also learned a couple of things. I have learned that I love swimming and riding my bike. I learned that you really find what your made of when you push yourself. I am also excited that J is doing this Triathalon with me. He is such a great support. I am sure he will be at the finnish line waiting for me, I will probably still be swimming. :) Hopefully it is a good bike!

The Swimming Adventure

Morgan Loves to swim and has no fear when it comes to the water. So any opportunity to go swimming she is there. Well are ward has a swimming party, and we decided it would be fun to take her at the last minute. We grabbed are things and headed out the door. On the way out Jeremiah dropped by Walmart to get a new swimming suit. When we got the pool, Jeremiah went and changed. He came out of the dressing room shaking his head saying this is not going to work. The swimming suit was way to big and the Jaw string that he thought he had was just for looks so you couldn't tighten the shorts. So he told me that I would have to go swimming, Well I went to grab my swimming suit and realized it was still at home. All Jeremiah could say " are you serious, you didn't bring your swimming suit to the pool. Well I had to run home while Jeremiah took Morgan into the pool holding his shorts the whole time. On the way back to the pool I dropped of and bought him a new swimming suit. Well this time he came out of dressing room and told me that he didn't need to worry about his suit falling off. The suit that I had bought his was to small. Oh well it worked and it was cheap. I didn't want to buy an expensive suit and went for the clearance item, I figured since he had lost so much weight it would of worked. Morgan and Riley sure had fun in the water. Morgan even went down the water slide with me, even though I felt like I was going to drown when we splashed into the water at the bottom. I was so concerned about holding her above the water, I forgot to hold my breath. A fun family adventure for sure.
