Morgans First day of School.

As you can tell Riley did not like the idea of Morgan going to school, or maybe he liked the idea.(I have Mommy all to myself HE HE HE)

Wow, My baby is growing up. Today was her first day of school. I wish I could say that she was nervous and wanted me to stay with her, but that is not true. My daughter woke up at 6:30 ready to conqure the day. She had all her stuff laid out the night before. The first thing she asked me when she woke up was, "You are not going to stay are you?", and "can you just drop me off at the curb." If she only knew what I was feeling. I tried hard to be brave and not cry in front of her, but their where moments that I got teary eyed. After school she told me that she loved school, and was so excited to go back. So today again, she was up at 6:30 ready to leave by 7 and telling me that I am taking to long. .

A Wonderful Birthday.

My cute husband woke up 6:00 am to go to the store to buy the ingredients for breakfast. He even woke up the kids early so they could help him make breakfast for me. It was the best breakfast ever. A new favorite hands down. French toast with raspberries, intense dark chocolate and whipped cream. He even took the time to make me a cute little card. "May this year be the year that you cross the bridge to your dreams and find the happiness you are dreaming for."

A surprise ferry trip to visit to
San Francisco

A self guided tour aboard the Jeremiah O'Brien and a chance to play antique arcade games.

A quick little nap

After a long day, we missed are ferry and had to walk over a mile with tired kids. Luckily we found a very nice guy to give us a bike ride to our pier so we could catch our ferry.(amazingly enough, the bike ride was quite fun)

A great sunset to end the evening and a wonderful presents waiting for me at home,

Riley Second Birthday

It seems crazy that Riley will be turning 3, and I am just barley posting his last birthday. It is amazing how fast time goes. If you can't tell by the cake, we had a cars party. It was a lot fun celebrating ri-bugs birthday. We spent a few hours at 6 flags discover kingdom, and went home and had his party. We even got a new gas tank, and filled it with root beer and had sandwiches at the pit stop. I think Jeremiah has a good future ahead of him making cakes.

Mommy Wow, I'm A Big Boy Now.

My little boy is finally potty trained. It was a challenge but well worth it. I have been changing diapers for the last 5 years. With the help from his grandmas giving him money and prizes. And the help of Thomas the train underwear. He is now a pro. On Sunday, as I took him to the bathroom, he said " Are there germs on this toilet, are they good germs or bad." I love my Riley bug and can't imagine life without him.

Morgan's Birthday and her Cousins Blessing!!!!

Always waiting

This last year and a half has been a challenging year. A year of growth, tears, stress, happiness, and love. It has been an adventure of new sights and snow free winters. It has been a soul searching year as I try to figure out who I am. It seems that I am always waiting for the right moment, right time to do things, and then I find myself waiting to long. I am that person that always saves a favorite shirt for a special occasion, wears a great looking pair of boots only once, and never wears that one lipstick that I absolutely love but goes with the free gift with purchase. Time goes on and you must go with it and be happy or at least try. As I look past at this last year, I feel like I was missing. I was present but not really there. Trying to adjust to new cities, new friends and new surrounding is not always easy. In fact sometimes I seemed to focus to much on the negative. It seems that I forgot what makes me who I am. As I look forward to the future. My new years resolution is to make ever day that special occasion day. My goal this year is to find out who I am and rediscover myself. I have been frumpy dumpy for way to long. It is time to wear the hair down, put a little more makeup on a regular basis, and wear those special boots.
